本作は、ニュージェネレーションウルトラマン作品を代表する怪獣・デストルドスを現代のアート表現として再解釈した作品です。
ゼットン、ガンQと同様に、肖像画を思わせる構図と極限まで削ぎ落とされた背景によって、複数の怪獣が融合して生まれたデストルドス特有の混沌としたシルエットを、圧倒的な存在感で表現しています。
鮮やかなマゼンタの背景は、デストルドスが内包する不気味さや破壊性を強調すると同時に、怪獣が時代を超えて愛されるポップアイコンであることも表現しています。禍々しさと美しさを併せ持つ、令和怪獣ならではの魅力を作品の中に取り込んでいます。
また、デストルドスの身体を構成するモザイクは、ニュージェネレーションウルトラマン作品に登場した怪獣たちの場面写真によって構成されています。融合怪獣であるデストルドスの設定になぞらえ、新時代の怪獣たちの歴史や戦いの記憶、そしてファンの思い出をその身に集積した存在として描いています。
