ウルトラセブンに憧れた親世代とウルトラマンゼロに憧れた子供世代。父と子の絆、そして親から子への継承という普遍的なテーマを表現した作品です。親子で同じポーズを真似しながら時間を共有した方も多いのでないでしょうか。ヒーローへの憧れは、物語や知識だけでなく、ポーズを真似するという行為そのものを通しても受け継がれていきます。本作では、そうした身体的な反復によって受け渡される記憶や価値観に着目しました。また、赤いエフェクトはウルトラセブンの伝統や父性を、青いエフェクトはウルトラマンゼロの若さや未来をそれぞれ表現しています。
