The use of mirror materials highlights their shared origin, while portraying them as distinct entities existing in parallel dimensions.
"The heart of Gintama is the ""mash-up,"" a wild blend of elements that generates new value. This artwork evolves that idea using collage—the deliberate deconstruction and rearrangement of unrelated images. By referencing and reconfiguring existing expressions, Gintama creates its own narrative and comedy. This piece makes that creative process visible. It reveals that what we see as a unified image is actually a mosaic of fragments, proving that new meaning is born from the way we choose to combine the pieces."
