07Aug2023 posted. This piece came from a random combination that popped into my head. While the duck unexpectedly took center stage with its strong presence, I still wanted the devil to have a distinct personality. I gave him a drowsy, heavy-lidded look and a subtle, condescending —as if scoffing at everything. I pressed down hard with a thick mechanical pencil to build bold lines, which ended up matching the mood perfectly.
