20May2024 posted. Red Fallen Angel. The pose and lighting were inspired by a photo or video I remembered seeing somewhere—a concept I had been wanting to draw for a while, and something I’ll likely revisit again. For the coloring, I drew inspiration from Japanese lacquerware and Kimono, giving it a glossy yet unique feel. As for the challenge of this piece, it was undoubtedly the perfectly centered, beautiful face… No matter how many times I draw it, a front-facing face is always tough.
