The second installment in the Fatal Fury series, released as the second "100 Mega Shock" title, featuring vastly improved graphics and operability. The number of playable characters increased from 3 in the previous game to 8. The 2-plane system was enhanced, allowing players to move to the other plane themselves or knock opponents into it. Various new systems were added, such as "Super Special Moves," which could only be used when health dropped below a certain level but boasted immense power, making matches even more heated.
