A Message from the Organizer
To commemorate the release of the art book *Haruhiko Mikimoto Artbook “MACROSS”*, which captures over 40 years of “Macross” illustrations by Haruhiko Mikimoto, an artist with a wide range of creative activities and roots, we have, for the first time, reproduced the works featured in the book using GAAAT’s new expression method—Metal Canvas Art! This has resulted in a complete collection of art pieces.
From the carefully selected works in the art book, Mr. Mikimoto and our team have selected pieces to be transformed into art using this new method.
We invite visitors to view the works in person at the venue and, together with the art book, experience the world of “Macross” as drawn by Haruhiko Mikimoto. Artworks will also be available for purchase, allowing you to select your favorite pieces to enjoy in your own home.
Following the highly acclaimed Tokyo and Yokohama exhibitions, the Osaka exhibition will be held on the largest scale yet. New works will also be added starting from this exhibition, aiming to make this an event for all to enjoy.
We look forward to welcoming you to the exhibition.

What's MCA
What is Metal Canvas Art?

GAAAT’s Unique Art Expression:
Metal Canvas Art
Each Metal Canvas Art piece is carefully handcrafted by skilled artisans, offering the distinctive weight and beauty of metal while creating an immersive experience in which the work’s three-dimensional depth is vividly expressed.
In addition, it boasts excellent durability, resistant to both sunlight and humidity, allowing you to enjoy its beauty for many years.
Exceptional Expressive Power Through Unique Technology
By employing a specialized design technique that divides digital imagery into 32 layers, we have achieved delicate renderings of texture and subtle color variations.
This enables a rich sense of depth and dimensionality unlike anything achievable with conventional art forms.
