（这幅插画的灵感来源于一次散步。萧条的秋冬季的向日葵，拥有不同于鲜活时的强烈张力，仿佛它们的眼睛在默默注视着我。曾是象征阳光与生命的存在，在这里却成为了“窥视者”。它们不再是静默的背景，而是拥有视角和目光的存在，审视和评判着周遭的一切。 于是我在创作中采用了一些粗砺的笔法，让枯萎的向日葵更富冲击力，与画面主角的柔和相对比，以达到具有破碎感以及压迫力的画面效果。希望观者能体会其中微妙的荒凉感和沉静。） この絵の発想は散歩のときに得た。 秋から冬へ季節が変わる時のヒマワリは、いつもと違うようなインパクトを持つ。 ひまわりからある視線を感じた。 太陽と命の象徴である存在は、 いつのまにか眺め側になって、 静かな背景として存在するじゃなく、 視点や視線を持って周りを批判するようになった。 絵にするときは、荒いタッチを用い、枯れてるヒマワリをより強い印象に描かれ、人物の和らげなイメージと対比して、全体的な静けさや寂しげを表現した。ぜひそれらの微妙な感情を感じてもらえたら嬉しいです。
