この作品は、「花の死」というタイトル通り、生命のはかなさと美の消滅を表現しようとしました。人物の顔と体が花で覆われて消えていくような姿は、自然の循環とともに人間の存在もまた一時的であることを表現しようとしました。全体的に爽やかでありながらも悲しげな雰囲気が共存することを目指して制作しました。
