きらびやかな上尾筒。しかし瞳のような模様の奥に、羽毛の隙間に、どこか臆病さをたたえた暗がりが、どこまでも深く存在しているように感じる。この作品では網膜に焼き付く豊かな美しさと、その向こうに続くものについて、多層性を意識しながら手探りに描いた。
