This piece represents the multifaceted nature of the character Ichigo. Each images of the mosaic symbolizes the events he has experienced, as well as the people and places that have influenced him.
The split between the light and dark sides of his face represents the light and shadow, positive and negative elements that Ichigo faces. This visually conveys that he embodies both elements.
