本作は、戦国期の水墨画家・雪村（せっそん）の作品をモチーフに描かれたものです。雪村特有の自由闊達で独創的な筆致に着想を得ながら、その風景の中にPAC-MANやゴーストが侵食していく姿を重ね合わせています。伝統的な水墨画の世界と現代ポップカルチャーのモチーフを融合させることで、異なる時代や文化が交錯する独自の風景を生み出しています。
画材には水墨画の技法を用い、支持体には日本画古来の素材である「絹本（けんぽん）」を使用しています。墨の濃淡と筆致の勢いによって構成された画面は、雪村の精神性を継承しつつ、現代的なユーモアと批評性をも内包した表現となっています。
