Behind the Scenes of the Art Exhibition
What's Metal Canvas Art
Timeless like PAC-MAN.
Maintenance-free art.
An original product from the GAAAT brand, created on a metal canvas. By using a unique technique to depict the design on metal sheets, it maintains its beauty permanently without the need for maintenance. The artworks depicted on the metal canvas are transformed into art pieces through art direction that elevates original content, and art engineering that divides the 2D data of the content into "32 layers" and designs it in three dimensions, offering a new form of artistic expression known as 2.5D art.
The Feature of Metal Canvas Art
Up to 32 Layers of Design
Data Design by a Specialized Team
Using unique data design techniques, up to 32 layers are stacked on a single digital artwork. This data design technology allows for the creation of surface textures with a precision of up to 1mm. In this process, the art director and a team assembled around him or her determine where and to what extent the textures should be constructed, considering the intention of the original artwork and its visual impact. As a result, conventional flat digital content is transformed into a three-dimensional, deep, and immersive art piece.
Metal Canvas
Metal Material Provides Durability and Unique Texture
By using metal sheets as the canvas, we achieve outstanding durability, resistant to humidity and aging. The use of industrial materials, which were traditionally not used in art, allows the beauty and charm of the artwork to shine permanently while expressing a new challenge within the art field.
Color Expression with Special Technology
Enlarged Image
Through the use of proprietary techniques, UV paint is applied in multiple layers, creating vibrant colors along with deep, detailed textures with millimeter precision. The unique texture and relief allow for a new art experience, where the piece presents different expressions depending on the angle of the light. This combination of durability, delicacy, precision, and beauty is what makes Metal Canvas Art unique.
PAC-MAN, which was born as an arcade game in 1980 and was created with the desire to make a game that everyone could enjoy. It has since become a beloved character globally. Players control the round, yellow PAC-MAN as he navigates a maze, eating all the cookies (dots) along the way. The thrill of being chased by four ghosts. Combined this with the excitement of reversing the situation - with power pellets - to chase them back and score high, is what makes the game so captivating. Recognized by the Guinness World Records as the "most successful coin-operated arcade machine," PAC-MAN has become one of the most iconic characters in game history. In the United States, the phenomenon known as "PAC-MAN Fever" took the culture by storm, expanding into animation, music, merchandise, and more. As PAC-MAN celebrates its 45th anniversary, it continues to evolve beyond gaming, blending with television, music, fashion, and other cultural realms - securing its place as a symbol of global pop culture.
A New Dimension of Emotion Through Art
GAAAT is an art brand that expands the expression and experience of IP content into new dimensions through the power of art and technology. By combining proprietary technology with creative innovation, we transform the depth of narratives and emotions into immersive spatial and experiential forms, redefining the potential of IP as art. Our works are presented through white-cube gallery exhibitions and international touring shows, reaching fans and art collectors around the world. By reimagining the relationship between IP and art, we are creating a new market where powerful emotional experiences continue to resonate and evolve.
