Despite the carefree and pleasant mood, the challenge was still to create a captivating scene that was both expressive and realistic. The greatest difficulty was to conceptualize a setting that would complement the mood perfectly with the right colors and lighting, without straying far from reality. As the key focus of the scene, I also wanted the characters’ poses and expressions to match the mood, with even their walking gait being an important visual cue. In addition, their clothes were also designed to complement each other, being a mix of elegant monochrome and vibrant reds.
